In-Sight Vision Suite - Spreadsheet Standard Training

The In-Sight Vision Suite Spreadsheet Standard training teaches you how to configure an industrial vision application using the Spreadsheet interface that drives In-Sight smart cameras on production lines. Over 2 days, you learn to connect, set up, program and deploy a Cognex vision system for quality control, code reading, dimensional measurement and automated inspection.

Master the Cognex Spreadsheet environment and its vision tools

This course alternates theory (lighting, optics, In-Sight architecture) with hands-on practice on real Spreadsheet jobs. You configure PatMax Redline, Histogram, Blob, Edge and the new ViDi EL (Edge Learning) tools to solve actual industrial quality control problems, then tackle Digital I/O and network communication to integrate the camera into your PLC.

The training ends with a full production deployment project and a comparison between In-Sight Explorer and In-Sight Vision Suite, so you can choose the right platform for your line and immediately apply your skills on In-Sight 3800, 8900 and 2802 cameras.

The Spreadsheet Standard training targets users who want to go beyond simple applications and create custom jobs, with logical calculations, branching and advanced industrial communications.

Do I need to bring my own Cognex camera to the training?

No. ITTA provides In-Sight cameras and workstations configured with the Vision Suite software for all participants.

Is this training suitable for In-Sight Explorer users?

Yes, Module 10 is specifically dedicated to the differences between Explorer and Vision Suite and helps you transpose your skills to the new platform.

Does the training cover Cognex 3D vision?

No, this course focuses on 2D vision with the Spreadsheet Standard interface. For 3D vision with In-Sight 3D-L4000, a dedicated Cognex training is required.

Can this training be funded by Temptraining?

Yes, ITTA is a Temptraining-accredited organization. Your technicians and engineers can benefit from funding subject to company eligibility.

What technical level is required to follow the training?

A good command of Windows and basic knowledge of automation are recommended. No previous experience in industrial vision is required.
