Is CCNA required before targeting CCNP Wireless?
Cisco removed the formal requirement of holding CCNA to pass CCNP, but good mastery of network fundamentals (CCNA Enterprise equivalent) remains strongly recommended before ENWLSI or ENWLSD. Knowledge of ENCOR (CCNP Enterprise Core) is also advised. Our pedagogical team evaluates your level and proposes a coherent path.
SD-WAN or Wireless: where to start?
It depends on your role. For Wi-Fi engineers in charge of wireless coverage and authentication, the WLFNDU then ENWLSI or ENWLSD path is priority. For WAN engineers in charge of multi-site architectures, the SDWFND then ENSDWI path is priority. Both skills are complementary in a Cisco Catalyst Center environment.
