Description

SAFe® is a framework designed to establish large-scale agility by leveraging the principles of agile methodologies such as Scrum, XP, and Kanban. It facilitates collaboration within a team working on a set of products. This training introduces the roles of the Product Owner and the Product Manager within a SAFe® context and prepares for the “SAFe® PO-PM” exam included in the course price.

  • Anyone involved in implementing agility at scale

Objectives

  • Master the SAFe® framework with the roles of Product Manager or Product Owner
  • Apply the framework to real-world scenarios
  • Prepare for the SAFe® 6 Product Owner/Product Manager (POPM) certification

Prerequisites

  • Minimum knowledge of Agile methods is required
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in various project roles is expected
  • A good level of English is necessary to participate in the provided exercises

Course content

  • Implement SAFe® in the Lean Enterprise
  • Contribute to instilling a Lean-Agile mindset through the roles of the Product Owner and the Product Manager
  • Collaborate with Lean Portfolio Management
  • Continuously explore customer needs
  • Execute the Program Increment
  • Define the roles and responsibilities of the PO/PM
  • Create a measurement plan for a PO/PM
