Description

Animate is a powerful creation environment also intended for complex animation projects including video but also javascript code to add sophisticated interactivity. The aim of the course is to extend the knowledge of the basics by using concrete examples so as to be able to publish complete lists, with buttons, navigation menus and personalized video players.

  • Expert techniques for the creation of animation elements for their modifications / re-uses
  • Create basic, invisible and animated buttons
  • Use button symbols for simple and complex interactivities
  • Create panoramas in Virtual Reality
  • Video and sound playback controls

Prerequisites

Participants should have followed or have knowledge covered by: Adobe Animate CC – Fundamentals

Module 1: Animations advanced

  • Movie-clips and nested animations
  • Swapping tween targets
  • Motion-guide based animations
  • Timeline and keyframes technics

Module 2: Interactivity

  • Symbols as buttons, animated buttons, invisible buttons
  • Events triggers for symbols and timelines
  • Action-script and Javascript
  • Timeline destinations
  • Using the actions panel

Module 3: Multimedia

  • Using sounds and controlling sounds
  • Adding internal videos without playback controls
  • Adding external videos; videos with playback controls
  • Using actions panel to customize playback controls

Module 4: Advanced projects

  • Virtual Reality in Animate
  • Creating a VR Panorama
  • Adding animations to VR documents
  • Adding interactivity to VR documents

Module 5: Publishing

  • Publishing for web
  • External files considerations
  • Communicate with the DOM with jQuery
