Sizing SAP infrastructure on Azure is a critical step that determines the performance and stability of the environment. The AZ-120 training teaches you to use SAP Quick Sizer tools and Microsoft sizing references to select SAP-certified virtual machines (M-series, Mv2, Ev5). You understand the different storage options: Premium SSD disks, Ultra Disk, and Azure NetApp Files for SAP HANA volumes.
You study SAP on Azure reference architectures for production, development, and training scenarios. The course covers HANA Large Instances for very large-scale workloads, as well as multi-SID configurations for resource optimization. This sizing expertise is essential to avoid costly overprovisioning or underprovisioning that impacts performance.
High availability of production SAP systems is a non-negotiable requirement. It contains between 40 and 60 questions (multiple choice, scenarios, case studies) and lasts approximately 120 minutes. The passing score is 700 out of 1000. The certification is valid for one year, renewable free of charge via Microsoft Learn.

What are the prerequisites for the AZ-120 training?
You should have experience in SAP administration (Basis) and basic Azure knowledge (portal, virtual machines, virtual network, storage). The AZ-104 certification or equivalent Azure administration experience is recommended. Familiarity with SAP HANA is a plus.
Is this training suitable for SAP consultants without Azure experience?
The course assumes basic Azure knowledge. If you are new to Azure, it is recommended to take the AZ-900 (Azure Fundamentals) or AZ-104 (Azure Administrator) training before enrolling in AZ-120.
Do the labs cover SAP HANA deployment on Azure?
