Is drafting experience required before AutoCAD Fundamentals?
No. The AutoCAD Fundamentals training is designed for profiles with no prior CAD experience. It covers the interface, drawing and modification commands, layers and printing. Basic mathematical logic and good IT ease are pluses.
Do I need AutoCAD before Revit?
Not necessarily. Revit has its own BIM logic and can be learned directly, particularly for profiles joining a 100% BIM project. However, AutoCAD experience helps to understand the concepts of layers, dimensioning and layout that are found in Revit under different vocabulary.
